I REALLY
LOVE TO
UNDERSTAND
PEOPLE

As long as I've known myself, it has been my passion to learn more about the human world we live in. Our fascinating inclination for aesthetics has enchanted me since I was a child and never left my side ever since.

Started my official dive into the human condition as a philologist, reading the classics of literature has helped understand the human's mind narratives and ideals.

I broadened my understanding of the human psyche by getting my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Educational Sciences, finishing my studies with a thesis about the emergence of human consciousness.

But that didn't feel quite enough so I continued my learning journey by completing a master's degree program in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.

My fascination with tenchology has inspired me to research gaming addiction for my dissertation.

The results were quite interesting especially because it was one of the first researches of this kind done on a population sample in Romania.

As I said before, the captivation for arts has never left my side. So after finishing my academic qualifications I committed to develop myself in this direction. Therefore, I stared participating in creative cultural activities that were aiming to bring a positive impact in the community using art as a catalyst.

I also enrolled into a combined arts training program and revived my previous interest for photography.

One day, on a trip back to my hometown I had a chance encounter that changed my life. I met my current voice coach and we instantly connected. This opened the door for me to finally be able to pursue my childhood dream of studying music and, of course, sing.

This encounter, along with others, has made me believe that perhaps there's more to life than just coincidence.

All in all, what I'm currently doing is to incorporate art-based approaches into health care, mental health care. There is valid evidence suggesting that artistic interventions promote life satisfaction and contribute to good health.

Last but not least, for the past five years I have been professionaly tutoring a child with learning disabilities, dedicating my time to individualised education and support.

So, dear reader it was a pleasure to introduce myself, welcome to my journey. Can't wait to hear yours! Yours truly, Betis Caeli.
